Director Joe Russo hinted that the film takes a “very radical” approach to its narrative, one that aims to challenge the audience. All signs suggest that Doomsday will serve as the lead-in to Avengers: Secret Wars, with elements from Brave New World and Thunderbolts* laying essential groundwork.
