Selena Gomez Celebrates New Perfume in a Shimmering Mother-of-Pearl Gown

Selena Gomez, the visionary behind Rare Beauty, shone brightly at the launch event for her brand’s first-ever Eau de Parfum. Dressed in a dazzling Cult Gaia Renata Gown, the founder was all smiles as she celebrated with the cast of Love Island USA season 7, marking a significant milestone for her expanding beauty empire.

A Star-Studded Fragrance Launch

Rare Eau de Parfum

On August 7, Selena Gomez hosted an ecstatic launch party for Rare Beauty’s debut Eau de Parfum. The event was a hub of excitement, particularly as Gomez had the opportunity to meet the larger cast of Love Island USA season 7 for the first time. She was visibly thrilled, captured jumping for joy at the photocall and posing with fan favorites like runners-up Nicolas Vansteenberghe and Olandria Carthen. While winners Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales were not present at this specific event, Espinal (also known as Amaya Papaya) had previously shared a TikTok video with Gomez, showcasing the new fragrance and expressing mutual excitement about finally meeting.

For the momentous occasion, Gomez opted for a breathtaking shimmering mother-of-pearl gown from Cult Gaia. The “Renata Gown” features an elegant halterneck, a striking open back, and cascading draped fringes that flowed gracefully with her every movement, creating a truly ethereal effect. The dress, with its slinky silhouette and iridescent sheen, subtly hinted at a bridal aesthetic, leading some to speculate about her upcoming nuptials to fiancé Benny Blanco.

Busy Schedule and Evolving Style

The launch of Rare Beauty’s Eau de Parfum adds another exciting chapter to Gomez’s already packed schedule. In recent weeks, the singer and beauty mogul has been juggling the fragrance launch with wedding planning with Benny Blanco and preparing for the upcoming season of Only Murders in the Building.

Just prior to the perfume launch, Gomez and Blanco enjoyed a relaxed yet stylish date night at a cooking class in Century City. For this outing, Gomez showcased a more tailored but comfortable look, opting for Jacquemus flared denim capris paired with slingback kitten heels, cementing capris as a perfect summer pant option. This demonstrates her versatile approach to fashion, effortlessly transitioning from red-carpet glamour to chic, everyday ensembles.
