Seasonal charm: Pitour’s impression with wool capes and exquisite suit designs

Under the cool blue-purple stage lighting at MuseumsQuartier, each Pitour design stood out against a runway floor elegantly emblazoned with the brand’s name in bright white lettering. The minimalist setting maximized the visual impact of the subtle shimmer of metallic threads woven into tweed wool, alongside sharp exposed seam details. The meticulous attention to every stitch delivered a polished and complete viewing experience for the entire audience.

A strong ready-to-wear impression

At 8:00 p.m. on September 16, the runway at the MuseumsQuartier complex transformed into a showcase for the Pitour brand. The presentation followed immediately after the debut of the SYLGV women’s fashion collective, while also opening the series of late-evening collection presentations by Dreizehn and The Next Generation.

Halle E + G attracted a large audience of fashion enthusiasts and international style professionals. Pitour has established its identity through a minimalist tailoring philosophy that emphasizes architectural silhouettes and practicality, offering versatile wardrobe solutions for modern urban life.

A white backdrop bearing the Pitour brand name in prominent lowercase white lettering stood at the end of the runway. Cool blue-purple stage lighting accentuated the firm texture of woven wool fabrics, the subtle sheen of silk, and the sharp exposed seam details across each garment.

Exquisite layered wool cape designs

Pitour’s womenswear collection made a strong impression with a gray-black tweed wool cape woven with shimmering metallic threads, accompanied by a matching scarf. The design created an asymmetrical accent when paired with mustard-yellow tailored trousers featuring unusual raised pleated ridges running diagonally along the legs, complemented by stylish high-shaft silver leather boots.

The brand also introduced a dark blue long-sleeved top featuring intricate pleating and gathered detailing across the front, paired with an earth-yellow pleated, flared midi skirt. The interplay between the neat, fitted structure on top and the subtly voluminous silhouette below created a dynamic yet graceful look.

The collection’s mid-length dresses and A-line skirts were crafted from high-tech fabrics designed to maintain their shape. Every waist-contouring seam and side welt pocket was carefully calculated to flatter the figure while ensuring comfort and ease of movement.

Elegant and generous menswear techniques

The menswear segment received meticulous attention from the fashion house, featuring suits with a distinctly contemporary spirit. A zip-up stand-collar jacket adorned with a subtle micro-dot pattern, paired with deep navy tailored trousers, gave the male model a strong and dignified appearance as he confidently strode down the runway.

The designer also explored classic tailoring through an ash-gray checked wool waistcoat paired with matching straight-leg tailored trousers and layered over a gray-beige turtleneck. The design preserved the refined elegance of the European gentleman while softening its formality to suit the pace of everyday life.

The appearance of a long gray-white wool overcoat layered over a striped turtleneck shirt, paired with dark blue checkered tailored trousers and a fedora, further completed the diverse autumn fashion picture. The flexible layering of wool, cotton, and silk fabrics demonstrated the brand’s masterful tailoring craftsmanship.

Strong public applause for top-tier intricacy

The conclusion of the show marked an explosive moment as the founder and designer of Pitour stepped onto the runway to greet the audience, dressed in a black-and-white polka-dot shirt paired with wide-leg black culottes. Her radiant smile and confident demeanor were met with enthusiastic applause from the entire audience.

The appearance of the designer’s collaborators and the lineup of models on the runway brought the successful presentation to a complete close. Critics praised the collection’s practicality and strong commercial appeal, demonstrating the enduring vitality of minimalist tailoring in the high-end fashion market.

Pitour’s 8:00 p.m. presentation on September 16 further affirmed the strong position of Austrian fashion brands at Vienna Fashion Week 2026. The event left a positive impression on the international fashion community, offering fresh perspectives on highly wearable luxury fashion trends for the autumn-winter season
